Questions
Does KarmALPH run a mining pool?
No. You keep mining on an existing Alephium pool such as Kryptex. KarmALPH only provides the payout address and routes the ALPH that arrives on it.
Do I mine KARMA?
No. You mine ALPH as usual. KARMA is credited as a reward for the ALPH your hashrate contributes, tied to the KARMA committed to protocol-owned liquidity.
Which value identifies my contribution?
The unique payout address KarmALPH assigns to your wallet and project. The worker suffix is only a label. An assigned address is never given to anyone else.
When is a contribution counted?
Pool statistics are informational. A contribution is settled only once the pool payout is confirmed on the Alephium blockchain.
Is KarmALPH trustless?
Not yet. KarmALPH is currently operated by its team: payout addresses are controlled by an isolated KarmALPH wallet service that routes funds according to the published distribution.
Can I stop at any time?
Yes. Point your ASIC back to your own payout address. Any balance already accrued on the pool is paid out to the KarmALPH address according to the pool’s rules and routed normally.
